And the winner is…the Bridge Street Tap Room!! 🏆🥣😋🎉🎉

Congratulations to the Bridge Street Tap Room and chef Aaron Hagen for winning Charlevoix’s 14th annual chili cook off!! Chef Hagen was inspired by and created the Hogzillachili with sous chef Charles Pitcher. Hogzillachili was #1 in the lineup of seven area restaurants. It was a very close race and we received numerous compliments on each of the delicious chilis.

We want to thank all of the participating restaurants, Bridge Street Tap Room, the Weathervane with Pork and Beans, Hotdoggers with Chillilicious, Pigs Eat’n Ribs with Notorious P.I.G., Scovies and their Chicken Chili, The Cantina with Pork Black Bean and Corn, and the French Quarter with their Ran Delicious chili. Thanks to all of our volunteers who made the day possible and finally, a big thank you to everyone who came out to sample and vote for their favorite chili. Serving as the judges, you made this fundraiser a great success!

The Charlevoix United Methodist Church will use the proceeds to support the church’s mission, including a workcamp mission to the Henderson Settlement in Kentucky, support for the local Kids Hope program, and to fund packets of necessities for the homeless in Northern Michigan.
